Situated next to the church on the edge of Epsom Common, Christ Church Hall offers an ideal setting for parties, wedding receptions and meetings. We are no longer prohibited from accepting commercial bookings, but any proposed use has to be agreed with us in advance as falling within the general criteria of “being for the benefit of the surrounding community and consistent with the Christian faith.”
The hall is fully central heated with a ground floor (measuring: 10.79m x 8.11m: 87.5m2 and 2.77m high, with a maximum capacity of 100 people) and an upper floor (measuring 5.6m x 6.37 m, 36.31m2, with a maximum capacity of 80 people). The ground floor has disabled access and opens up onto a good sized level, grassed garden area. Both halls have a whiteboard and tables and chairs. There is a kitchen on the ground floor, but it is not licensed by the Environmental Health authorities, and must not be used for preparing dishes from their ingredients. It is provided solely for keeping previously prepared food hot, or for heating it. A (Council-run and - owned) car park is next to the church.
Please note that:
the hall is available on weekdays 3.30 to 11pm (9am to 11pm in school holidays), Saturdays 9am to 6pm, Sundays 12.30 to 4.30 pm.
people attending functions in the church may need to use the hall toilets
the hall fees cover the use of the downstairs hall and the kitchen. If the upstairs hall is also required please put that under the heading 'type of activity' on the booking form. There will be an additional charge.
