Children and Youth Worker

Salary: £13.20/hour 

£24,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Contract: Part time 15 hours, flexible hours including Sundays, 

​

We are an active and growing church with lots of activities and exciting potential. 

 

Christ Church Epsom Common is located in a beautiful part of Surrey surrounded by easy public transport links to London, further countryside and to the sea. 

 

We are looking for someone to lead and co-ordinate activities based within the church and in the community. A person with lots of energy, plenty of good ideas and a desire to share their faith and to see faith develop in children, young people, and their families. 

 

You will need experience of working with children, teenagers, and families, and have the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of Safeguarding essential.

You will be joining a friendly, committed, and motivated team. We are committed to your development too and will seek to invest in you both personally and professionally through supervision, mentoring and appropriate training.

​

We seek to offer a three-year renewable contract.  

​

Full time or job share considered, salary pro-rata. 

​

The post requires a satisfactory Enhanced DBS criminal record check, you must have the right to work in the UK, and there is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be a committed Christian.
