The Mothers’ Union are very pleased that some of the Lent collection will be going towards our children in Sierra Leone, who we have been sponsoring through school.
We had been concerned about how we would make up the funds that we had promised for 2021 as we have not been able to fundraise and so the support from the church is greatly appreciated.
We hope to be able to update the congregation on the children’s progress, one of which is now going on to study engineering at University. Thank you for your generosity in supporting these children who have limited opportunities for education.
