The Children's Society was founded in 1881 by Sunday school teacher Edward Rudolf to help children living in poverty. The Children's Society has never lost sight of his vision of a country where every child can enjoy a good childhood. Today over 60 community - based projects provide support for children and teenagers who are excluded, isolated and abandoned. Children who are: -

  • homeless/living on the streets
  • in trouble with the law
  • disabled
  • refugees/Roma
  • young carers
  • living with parents who have drug/alcohol problems.
