Mothers' Union

Mothers’ Union is a global Christian movement working with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change. Why not put your faith into action by joining us as we work together for a better world?

Here at Christ Church we are proud to be part of this highly effective worldwide charity.  We plan a full and varied programme of local events including speakers, coffee mornings and bible studies, meeting every month apart from  August (usually).  Meetings mostly take place in the church hall, but sometimes we roam further afield e.g. attending events at Guildford Cathedral.

We have a membership of more than 30.  Members may be male/female, married/single, parents/without children.  That means everyone is welcome – babies, toddlers and visitors too.  The more members we have, the more we can help support good works across the globe through payment of a modest annual subscription (£26.50 in 2020).

Please join us!

Other Activities

In our community

  • We run a baby and toddler group, Wheels and Squeals, which meets every Wednesday morning (during term-time) in the church hall from 10.00 to 11.30 a.m.

  • Provision of emergency toiletry gift bags for Epsom Hospital.

  • Provision of parenting courses.

      Sierra Leonean Link

  • We enjoy a treasured link with a Mothers’ Union Branch in Freetown, Sierra Leone and donate funds to provide a school education for children who would not otherwise receive a formal education.
